Montana State Foster/Adoptive Parent Association
Foster and adoptive families are a valuable resource in caring for children placed in the state's care and custody.
There are about 1900 children that are currently placed in foster homes across Montana. Foster and adoptive families are always needed to temporarily or permanently care for children who have been abused or neglected.

Since April 1, CFSD has had a toll free number for families interested in providing foster care or becoming approved for adoption. The number is (866) 9-foster , or (866) 936-7837 . Airpage of Helena will answer the calls and gather basic information from the families such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. The toll free number will be manned 24/7. Workers will receive this information from Airpage. Please pass this number along!!
